The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed, and are therefore the final authority for faith and life.
The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the complete divine revelation of God to man. Scripture is interpreted according to its normal grammatical-historical meaning.
The King James Version of the Bible is used as the official translation by church leadership and visiting speakers while preaching, teaching, or publicly addressing church assemblies and functions.
Dispensationalism
We believe Scripture, interpreted in its natural and literal sense, reveals divinely determined dispensations or rules of life that define mankind's responsibilities across successive ages.
These dispensations are stewardships, not ways of salvation, by which God directs man according to His purpose.
The Godhead
We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is co-eternal in being, identical in nature, coequal in power and glory, and sharing the same divine attributes.
The Person and Work of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary to reveal God and redeem sinful men.
We believe Christ accomplished redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, substitutionary sacrifice, and that justification is assured by His literal, physical resurrection.
We believe Christ ascended to Heaven and now ministers as High Priest, Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate at the right hand of God.
We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and that all true believers are baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body and should identify with local churches.
The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and is the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing believers into Christ's body, indwelling and sealing them to the day of redemption.
We believe He is the divine Teacher who helps believers understand and apply Scripture, and that every saved person should be filled with the Spirit.
We believe God sovereignly distributes spiritual gifts and uses evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip believers for ministry.
We believe sign gifts such as tongues and healing were temporary and that ultimate physical deliverance awaits resurrection, though God still answers prayer for healing.
The Total Depravity of Man
We believe man was created in the image of God, but in Adam's sin the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God.
Man is totally depraved and unable, in himself, to remedy his lost condition.
Salvation
We believe salvation is the free gift of God, brought by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who shed His blood at Calvary for the forgiveness of sins.
We believe God is sovereign and has given man a free will to accept or reject salvation. It is God's will that all would be saved, and none should perish.
The Eternal Security and Assurance of Believers
We believe that once a person is saved, he is kept by God's power and remains secure in Christ forever.
We believe believers may rejoice in assurance of salvation through God's Word, while refusing to use Christian liberty as an occasion for the flesh.
The Church
We believe a New Testament church is a local assembly of born-again, baptized believers united to observe biblical ordinances, gather for worship and fellowship, and carry out the Great Commission.
We believe local churches are clearly established and defined in the New Testament.
We believe in the autonomy of the local church, free from external authority in doctrine and practice.
We recognize believer's baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper as the two scriptural ordinances for this age.
Separation
We believe believers should maintain a godly testimony that does not bring reproach on Christ.
We believe God's people should separate from religious apostasy, sinful worldliness, and philosophies that undermine biblical Christianity.
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the personal, imminent return of Christ, including the rapture of the church before the seven-year tribulation period.
We believe Christ will return with His saints to establish His earthly Messianic Kingdom for one thousand years.
The Eternal State
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people: the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment.
We believe redeemed believers are consciously with the Lord at death and await resurrection and glorification.
We believe unbelievers remain in conscious punishment until final judgment and everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire.
The Personality of Satan
We believe Satan is a real personal being who rebelled against God, became the author of sin, and is the enemy of God and man.
We believe Satan's power is limited by God's permissive will, his defeat was secured at the cross, and his final doom in the Lake of Fire is certain.
Creation
We believe Genesis records a literal, historical creation of the universe in six literal twenty-four-hour periods.
We reject evolution, the Gap Theory, the Day-Age Theory, and theistic evolution as unscriptural theories of origin.
Civil Government
We believe God has ordained three institutions: the home, the church, and the state.
Every person is subject to proper authority, and every authority is accountable to God and His Word within biblically assigned spheres.
